Founder and CEO of a specialist new home warranty provider, which I sold last year to a subsidiary of the Munich Re Group. Over 25 years we went from having me as a sole employee for 2 years to employing 500 people. As a Group we arranged 10 year structural insurance on new build property, primarily residential, and grew to have a 30% market share of all new housing starts in the UK. The Group comprised a Managing General Agency for several A rated insurers as well as carrying out risk management on behalf of the Insurers and Building Control on behalf of developers. We worked with some of the biggest developers in the UK and insured some of the biggest building constructed.
