China and the United States have a good environment for entrepreneurs
|

|
CHINA has a good environment for entrepreneurs to develop and thrive because of its special character, huge market and enough capital, industry officials said during an entrepreneur forum held in Shanghai yesterday.
Both China and the United States have a “good environment” for entrepreneurs, according to Kaifu Lee, founder of Innovation Works, an angel investment firm.
“We have a huge mobile and Internet market. With its special character, few overseas firms can dominate the market in China,” Lee, who is also a former Google China president, said during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress. “That gives Chinese firms a great opportunity.”
China now has more than 457 million Internet users.
There is also a huge inflow of funds to China to seek opportunities, which provide Chinese start-ups with enough capital.
